HGV - Operations Sales and Acquisition
If you are thinking of selling or buying a transport business, or its assets, then it is crucial to instruct a lawyer who has specialist transport expertise. Many HGV transport operators purchase businesses without having any idea of the problems in store for them on the compliance side when they come into possession of the new business.
Similarly it is important to avoid selling your own business “too cheaply” which can happen if you do not know how to make sure that it has the right systems and records in place to ensure current and future compliance (an HGV operation will likely be far less valuable without its operator’s licence).
Pellys Transport & Regulatory Law solicitors can help with the planned purchase or sale of an HGV operation.
If buying or selling a transport business, is something you are contemplating, the contact us now on 01279 818280 to discuss this aspect further, or fill in the contact form to the right to send us an email.
